Hi everyone! I'm excited to share my very first creation as a member of the Art Impressions design team. A little while ago Art Impressions shared sneak peaks of some of our challenge creations, I wanted to share this card as my first blog post so I can provide some extra details on how I created it. This beautiful card features the Holiday Mansion Set and the HM Garden Set from Art Impressions. This card is also featured on the Art Impressions blog today, check it out here!
First, I cut the card base to 5 1/2" x 8 1/2". The side step portion of the card is 2" wide and the center fold of the card is scored at 4 1/4". For more details on how to make a side step card check out this tutorial from All That Scraps Blog here. To create the sky I ink blended some clouds with the Cloud Stencil and Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink. To create the ground I die cut two pieces of grassy borders from solid green cardstock. I also used my Copic Sketch E80's series markers t…

i-Crafter August Release - Butterfly Bursts & Layered Shells Sentiments

Hi everyone! Today I am showcasing products from i-Crafter's August release. I made two sets of projects to share with you featuring the new Butterfly Bursts die set and the new Layering Shells Sentiments stamp set. Make sure to check out the other new products on the i-Crafter website here!
Butterfly Bursts First, I made two cards featuring the Butterfly Bursts die set. I made one card utilizing a warm color scheme and another with a cool color scheme.  For these projects I die cut the butterflies out of rainbow glimmer cardstock. I love the glittery ombre fades throughout the butterflies.  For the first card I used the Cosmic Flare stencil and Distress Oxide inks to create the background. I used Tonic Nuvo Drops to add embellishment and matted the card base onto dark purple cardstock.  For the second card I used the circle dots from the Comic Halftone Dots stamp set on soft blue cardstock to create the background and matted the background on dark purple cardstock. To finish the ca…

TRHD New Release - Witchy Wine Creations

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s Day 3 of 手机怎样上油管 Release Week’s Inspiration Hop, and today we are featuring the new set Cocktail Witch! So be sure to stick around for the end of this post to see where you are hopping to next, and find out how you can participate in the Release Week Giveaway!
With the Cocktail Witch stamp set I made two wickedly awesome projects: a slimline shaker card and a witch-y wine tag! This witch was so much fun to work with! You can color her so many different ways! I used my Copic Sketch alcohol markers to color these toxic-ly beautiful witches.
Project 1 I know you have heard of a genie in a magical lamp, but have you heard of a witch in a wine bottle?! For my first project I made a shaker card out of a glass bottle shape. This bottle contains this wickedly adorable witch and her spooky city. First, I used my Cricut Explore Air 2 to cut the glass bottle shape and bottle outline from the card front. I also used the Cricut machine to cut out …

Hey everybody! It's the 25th, so you know what that means, it's the Christmas Club blog hop! On the 25th of each month Crafty Festival hosts a holiday blog hop. I think this is nice because instead of forcing yourself to make a bunch of holiday cards in one or two months it spaces the work throughout the year. Check out the Crafty Festival Facebook page for more information on the Christmas Club blog hop and their other blog hops here.  Today I want to share this quick and easy holiday card I made with the Christmas Brief stamp set from Unity Stamp Co. This card is great for the holidays because it super easy to replicate and it's silly! This stamp set comes with two pairs of underwear and two sentiment sets. I re-stamped the two pairs of underwear with red and green ink to create the card background. To finish off the background, I used the ink splatter technique with these same inks. I created a coordinating envelope by using the same ink splatter technique on the envelope…

Kindred Stamps July Release - Pixie Dust

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It's the last day of the Kindred Stamps July 2024 Release Week sneak peeks! Check out my sneak peek from earlier this week here. Today, I am sharing my projects featuring the Pixie Dust stamp set and the Pixie Map stamp set. These stamp sets will be available on Friday, July 24th at 8 AM PST. These sets inspired so many projects for me! I made one project with both of these stamp sets and four other projects with just the Pixie Dust stamp set. I colored all characters and images with Copic Sketch markers. The colors I used are listed at the end of this blog post.
Project 1 My first project features the Pixie Map stamp set. This card was simple to make, but in the end, it turned into a beautiful scene. I used Distress Oxide inks to create the sky and sea backgrounds. I used a smooth layer of coverage with the Mermaid Lagoon ink to create the sea. For the sky, I used the MFT Cloud stencil and the Tumbled Glass ink. I adhered the boy, map, and stitched …

Kindred Stamps July 2024 Release - History Makers

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It's Day 2 of the Kindred Stamps July 2024 Release Week! Today I am sharing my first set of sneak peeks for the week featuring the History Makers stamp set. This stamp set will be available on Friday, July 24th at 8 AM PST. I colored all of the characters with my Copic Sketch alcohol markers. The colors I used to illustrate these characters are listed at the end of this blog post.
Project 1 For my first card I created a patriotic card background for these two iconic history makers. This card background was inspired by a 4th of July creation by Lady Michelle, check out her YouTube video here. I used the ink-smooching technique with Distress Inks to create the watercolor look for the stars and stripes. To mask off the horizontal stripes I used 1/2" thick purple tape. For the red stripes, I used Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, and Carved Pumpkin Distress inks. For the blue stars, I used the Tumbled Glass, and Blueprint Sketch Distress inks. Fina…

在手机怎样下油管

Hi everyone! Hope you are all having a wonderful summer. Today I wanted to share my creation for Kindred Stamps Christmas in July Challenge host on the Kindred Stamps Fan Club Facebook page. For this challenge you must take a non-holiday stamp set, and make a winter holiday related project with it! Check out the detailed challenge rules at the end of this blog post. For this challenge, I used the newly released Chomp stamp set. I used my Copic Sketch markers to color the shark. The colors I used are listed at the bottom of the blog post. To create the card background, I heat embossed the Hero Arts Bold Prints Snowflakes background stamp with the Brutus Monroe Deep Blue Sea embossing powder. I also used Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide ink to create the ombre ocean ink blend. To create the sentiment strip I used a stitched wave border die on a piece of white cardstock.  I used the Mermaid Lagoon ink to also stamp the sentiment and to distress the edges of the white cardstock. To stamp just…
